Best known for designing the Rolling Stone logo, psychedelic surf and rock artist Rick Griffin is being honored by Vans this fall with a special collection of sneakers bearing his designs. In what seems like a no-brainer collaboration, Griffin’s original art will adorn two t-shirts and four different Vans models, with one coming in two different colorways. In addition to Griffin’s drawings on the interiors and exteriors of each model, they all feature his mindbending original lettering style scrawled all over. Sadly, Rick Griffin was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1991, but his legacy will live on with each pair, and fucked it i want one of those !

The Collector Box features the styles of an Old Skool, a Half Cab, a Slip On, a Sk8 Hi, a Authentic and a Chukka. Each model of the shoe is a miniature replica of the it’s full grown counterpart. Each replica also features extensive detail from the leather on the Old Skool shoe to the canvas on the Authentic.
